Wiki Strapping confusion

CAN I BILL MEDICARE FOR STRAPPING 29200-29550 AND SUPPLIES (HCPCS A4452), THANKS ,GINA

My CPT book states, "If cast application or strapping is provided as an initial service in which no other procedure or treatment is performed use the casting, strapping and/or supply code (99070) in addition to the evaluation and management code as appropriate." If you are using a fracture code as an initial service you would not use a strapping code because this service is included in the fracture code.

Per coding guidlines notated in your CPT book before the "Casts and Strapping" codes, the supplies are included in the initial application. So, no you may not bill seperatley for them.
