I am wondering if anyone has had successful reimbursement from the surgeon implanting a drug delivery implant which stays in the sinus cavity for about 10 days. I have used the 11981 but insurance has come back stating this code is for a hormone implant. I want to fight this, the code does not state hormone therapy, but I can see where they are coming from. I need some help please.
