When a provider treats a patient for a stress fracture can i bill out the closed treatment code? my office doesnt bill for them and i think that it would be appropriate to bill it because they are treating as they would a fracture.


also, when the patient comes in post op after fracture treatment and gets xrays would it be appropriate to code the diagnosis as the followup V code and would they consider that a payable diagnosis with the fracture?
