hello,

in the outpatient setting, the conclusion read: Equivocal exeercise stress test for
myocardial ischemia.

How would this be coded?

It realy depends on what was performed. I know in my experience, I've had Cardio's say 'stress test' but they really did a stress echo or a nuclear.

Some options to consider:

POS - this can chg the scope of the CPT used/billed

If it was truly just a stress test then:

Stresss test (office) {owning equipment} - 93015

Stress test (outpt) - 93016/93018

If you can post the report we can see for sure.

You may see "Bruce" or "Pharmicological Stress" those are indicative of different tests.

Stress Echo and Nuclear have different codes. FYI.
