I am in search of some assistance on a CPT code
Procedure: Close reduction with splinting of right fourth P1 fracture
Procedure note: Patient was taken to the operating room and given some light IV sedation and while still awake administered a digital block to the right hand at the fourth MCP joint. He was then reduced under C-arm fluoroscopy, the rotational deformity was correct, the angular defomity with regards to flexion and extension was correct, and he had minimal ulnar radial deviation. At this point he was buddy taped and splinted into position. He was checked under fluoroscopy as well and reduction was maintained with the application of the buddy tape and splinting and it was elected to maintain this position without percutaneous pins secondary to the above reasons. (incarceration and inability to take care of pin sites)
