Cant find a code every code ive come across is I&D and the dr. didn't do that:
Radiopaque markers were placed on the anterior right shoulder and CT imaging obtained to determine a skin site. The skin site was
prepped, draped, and anesthetized in the usual fashion. Using a tandem needle and a trocar technique a 6-French pigtail catheter was
inserted into the abscess and greater than hundred and 50 cc of purulent fluid were obtained and sent for culture and sensitivity.
Follow-up CT demonstrates moderate amount of residual fluid remains. Patient may need fluoroscopically guided exchange for a
larger tube depending on the drainage catheter output. Catheter were sutured in place and attached to a suction drainage bag.
Impression: Successful CT-guided placement of a right subdeltoid bursa abscess drainage catheter.
