Wiki submitting medical records with medicare claim

Good Afternoon Coding World,

Would it be wise to submit medicare claims with medical documentation?

We know that for TX medicare when we perform a certain procedure medicare automatically ask for notes. Should we submit the claim with the documentation for quick process? have anyone used this process? If so where can I find this information to support this theory?

Medicare

Medicare typically will reject your claim with documentation until they request it. Unfortunately, you have to wait until Medicare requests the documentation. Just another delay tactic. I usually have the documentation set aside in a file so I can quickly turn it around since they also put a time limit as to when you can supply the requested information.
