Diagnosis: Epidural mass centered over L2 body extension above & below
Post Dagnosis: Disc Herniation
Procedure L1,2,3 laminectomy, resection of epidural mass
Laminectomy performed at L1,2,3. Yellow ligament removed from lateral recess bilaterally. The epidural venous plexus was coagulated and divided. The thecal sac was mobilzed somewhat midline to allowing inspection of ventral surface. Large collection of disc material within the PLL was removed. No obvious defect at the disc space.
