Wiki surgery in the global period

Hi, I hope everyone is well. We have a patient that had a septo and turb reduction. His global period is not up until 5-25-10. Patient feels no relief at all. He wishes he would have agreeded with surgeon and had a FESS too. If the surgeon takes him back to surgery before the global period is up will we get paid by insurance fro the next surgery?

I would appreciate your help with this.

58 or 78 modifier

Depending on the circustances you will use a -58 or -78 modifier on the next surgery if performed during the post-operative global period for the first surgery.
