Patient had a laparoscopy with lysis of adhesions and evacuation of hemoperitoneum, I was coding it as a 58660 but I can't find a code for the evacuation. Do I just put a modifier showing that they did more than just "normal" procedure or is there a cpt code I can use?

I suppose a case could be made for 49322 Laparoscopy, surgical; with aspiration of cavity or cyst (eg, ovarian cyst) (single or multiple) if that was the only procedure. While 58660 and 49322 are not CCI edits, I believe they would get bundled since 58660 has the separate procedure designation. Depending on how extensive the adhesions were and the size of the hemoperitoneum, I would use either 58660 only or 58660-22
