Wiki Surgery started on one day, ending on the next day

Hi,

If a surgery started 11pm and ended 2am, what service date would be used to report the surgery? A fellow worker says to use the end date, but I'm not sure.

Hi,
The date listed on the op notes is 11/19/21. However the surgery date on the op notes is listed as 11/18/21-11/19/21.
