Hello,

I have a question for everyone. A patient had HPV cauterized off the vaginal cuff.This was done under general anesthesia. I was told because it done under general anesthesia you cant use 57061, you have to bill as unlisted. Is this true? I have never heard this. I thought you would use modifier 23? I need help and maybe some guidance to find this information. Thanks in advance.
