I am about to start doing surgical audits. Does anyone have a good audit tool? This will be my first time with surgery and I need ya'lls help. If You do would you please email it to me at:
randi.royder@tsrh.org. I would so appreciate it. Once I get the tools I will need some more help,

Thanks group, your the best?

There are some useful tools available, however, there are no "audit tools" per se.

Best thing you can do is familiarize yourself with the requirements of operative reports, how to read and operative report and get a Coder's Desk Reference or subscribe to a service that offers the "Layman's Terms" for CPT codes.
