Any one having a problem w/ PCP offices being contacted for surgery clearance? Are they asking for your surgery CPT code to bill out for part of your surg package? They Wont schedule THEIR OWN patients for surg clearance unless you supply them w/this info? :confused:
 
We get calls from PCP office for CPT codes for surgery. However, they are usually attempting to obtain auth for our surgeries or are trying to help us obtain auth for surgeries. I have never heard of a PCP office billing our surgery codes.
