PROCEDURE PERFORMED: CONSTRUCTION OF PERITONEAL SLING AT PELVIC INLET TO PREVENT BOWEL HERNIATIN INTO FLAP RECONSTRUCTION AREA IN DEEP PELVIS/PERINEUM.

OP NOTE: A 19F ROUND BLAKE DRAIN WAS PLACED IN THE DEEP PELVIS OVER THE TOP OF THE FLAP, AND PERITONEUM FROM THE EDGES OF THE PELVIC INLET WERE APPROXIMATED OVER THE DRAIN USING 2-0 VICRYL STITCHES TO CREATE A SLING OF PRIMARY TISSUE TO PREVENT RETURN OF SMALL BOWEL TO THE DEEP PELVIS.

DR STATES I SHOULD CODE THIS OUT AS PRIMARY HERNIA REPAIR IN PELVIS/ INTERNAL.
PT DOESNT HAVE A HERNIA.
CODE I FOUND WAS
15734- muscle, myocutaneous, or fascioucutaneous flap, trunk.

HE DOESNT AGREE. PLEASE HELP WITH WHAT I SHOULD CODE THIS AS.
HELPPPPP!!!
