Wiki Suture of Finger

Patient went to the ED for suturing of his right index finger and 2 hours later the same day, patient fell causing the sutures to break on the finger and had to be re-sutured at his PCP. What modifier would be used for this procedure? 77 or F6?

Using both modifier

You can use 2 modifier together right, 77 to show repeat of procedure and F6 to represent the finger.

For a single finger, the F6 is really information only so use it as the second mod. 77 should be first mod.
