How often should providers see a swing bed patients?

2-3 times per week unless there is a new issue presenting. Medicare will pay for more but eventually you will be audited to see if the rounding is "usual and necessary" (it isn't).

Swing beds are more for the rehab, so docs are there to monitor progress and adjust meds/treat uti/acute issues, etc. The end goal is to get back to being able to do ADLs at a baseline level and doctor's don't have as much to do with that as therapy and nursing staff.
