Wiki Symbols ! * arrow etc PLEASE HELP

On a test they ask questions about using symbols..which one you use ..star.. dash.. exclamation point..
I've never heard of any such thing..Maybe it is a billing practice?

Please someone respond I am taking the test again tomorrow..Ive been googling it but not finding an answer

Judy, check your CPT book on the inside cover. It should have what the symbols mean.

The star is missing from this sheet, but the star is for medicine.

all of the symbols are actually on the bottom of the pages in your CPT book and the HCPCs books with their description. Is there a particular symbol you aren't sure of?
