Wiki Synovectomy and meniscectomy

A doctor performs a partial synovectomy in the patellofemoral compartment and a partial medial meniscectomy in the medial compartment. Is the doctor able to bill a 29881,RT & 29875,59,RT since this is 2 different compartments? Remembering that 29875 is defined as a "separate procedure" Many thanks....

29875 reports as separate procedure which means it is usually bundled to the major procedure. You can only report it when it is done on opposite the surgical site.
