I need some advice about whether or not getting my CPC-H will improve my job market for finding a job, I have my cpc and I have more than 7 years of coding experience, however I do want to get more credentials and I am confused about which one I need to get, I thought about getting a specialty through the AAPC as well .
any advice?
 
The CPC-H might be a good choice if you work in hospital billing, but otherwise, a specialty specific credential couldn't hurt either.
Experience is whats gonna get you in the door, but those extra credentials can help.

I'm planning on taking the CPMA and CPCO soon....I think with all the healthcare changes, knowing about compliance and auditing will come in handy for sure.
