I am new to IM came from FP, my doctor does Nursing Home and Home visits for his patients. He spends a considerable amount of time with the patient and the family discussing plan of care, ect. Is there a code that we can use for the counseling of the family and care givers, pt is also involved in this, or do we just use an extended visit code?
