Hello.

When billing TCM codes, if the billing provider did NOT see the patient in the ER/hospital (patient was only in the ER, and we did not consult), can my provider who saw the patient in follow up, bill a TCM code?

TCM codes can not be used for ER, but can be used for other hospital services like OBS, INPT. There are many moving pieces for the provider to bill those codes.
