Wiki Teaching physician guidelines for Psych residents...

Hi - I am needing some help with teaching physician rules for psychologists who supervise psychiatry residents. I found some info at Novitas that states "the Medicare teaching policy does not apply to psychologists who supervise psychiatry residents in an approved GME program." Does this mean the resident can bill for these and that the attending does not have to supervise nor attest to the encounter note? Does this apply to FQHC and inpatient as well? Any help is greatly appreciated as I feel like I have hit a dead end and just need some guidance. Thanks so much!
