We have a Billing Scrubber that wont Allow 93315/93320/93325 and 93315/93321/93325. We perform one pre-op and post-op (Same DOS). Is there any Guideline that anybody knows of so i can release these claims. We have to show "proof" in order for it to be billed.

Down load the excell file highlight your procedure codes if they are not excluded then in medlearn search your codes for the guidelines.

Pre/post op tee

I know this post is from a while ago, but we bill pre/post TEEs all the time.
I bill 93315-26/93320-26/93325-26, Then I bill the next set with the addition of modifier 76. I add the pre-op time and post-op time on the line items. However, the first one is always paid and we have to appeal the second one with TEE reports. We are successful on appeal, but so far not up front. I have also attempted billing with 2 units, but the same thing happens. Has anyone had success billing pre/post op TEEs without having to appeal?
