We are being advised to charge 93312 and 93325 for TEE's with Color Doppler but, I'm curious if the documentation(copied below) supports those codes.

A 2D transesophageal echocardiogram with Doppler and color flow Doppler was performed. The patient was brought to the EP lab in a fasting state. A transesophageal probe was inserted by the attending
cardiologist without difficulty. Transesophageal echocardiography images were obtained. There were no complications. Informed consent for Transesophageal Echocardiogram, and use of a contrast agent as
needed, was obtained prior to the procedure. An intravenous line was placed. A topical anesthetic agent was used for oropharangeal anesthesia. A bite block was inserted. IV conscious sedation was
administered using by anesthesiology staff. The patient's vital signs, including blood pressure, heart rate, pulse oximetry and cardiac rhythm were monitored throughout the procedure and remained
stable. The patient tolerated the procedure well without evidence of orophangeal or esophageal trauma. There were no complications.
Indications for Study
Stroke.

Left Ventricle
The left ventricle is normal in size. The left ventricular ejection fraction is normal. No obvious regional wall motion abnormalities noted.
Left Atrium
The left atrial size is normal. Left atrial appendage velocities are normal. No thrombus or spontaneous echo contrast seen. There is no atrial septal defect. Injection of contrast documented no
interatrial shunt.
Right Atrium
Right atrial size is normal.
Right Ventricle
The right ventricular systolic function is normal. The right ventricle is normal size.
Aortic Valve
The aortic valve is trileaflet. No aortic regurgitation. There is no aortic stenosis. There is no aortic valvular vegetation.
Mitral Valve
The mitral valve is normal in structure and function. There is trace mitral regurgitation. No mitral valve stenosis. There is no vegetation seen on the mitral valve.
Tricuspid Valve
Structurally normal tricuspid valve. No evidence of tricuspid regurgitation. No evidence of tricuspid stenosis. No evidence of tricuspid valve vegetation.
Pulmonic Valve
The pulmonic valve is normal. There is no pulmonic valve regurgitation. No evidence of pulmonic stenosis. There is no vegetation seen on the pulmonic valve.
Great Arteries
Normal ascending aorta. The aortic root is normal in size.
Pericardium/Pleural
There is no pericardial effusion.
