Hello- I work for a Medicaid only outpatient school based behavioral health agency in WA state. With summer approaching, we do a lot of group therapy with students which we have made in person only because out interpretation is that it was not billable via telehealth. There is some debate amongst other outpatient agencies that group therapy via telehealth can be billed however, when reviewing SERI, it is so vague when addressing telehealth (not COVID-19 telehealth). Is anyone billing group therapy via telehealth or have any insight as to whether this is something billable via telehealth?
