In my research, I am getting conflicting information regarding telehealth visits for 2025. Medicare says they will reimburse, in certain cases, for telehealth visits. I additionally read that Medicare will reimburse if your Provider is part of an ACO.
Because of the Covid , flu etc, we do not want bring these patients into the office for fear of infecting other patients. If Providers can't do a Telehealth, how are these patients going to get treated and will they have to go to a Urgent Care or ER? Surely that defeats the purpose because it will cost Medicare more money.
Please let me know if anyone has any additional confirmed information on this.
