Need help. I have a provider that is billing SNF telehealth. What POS do you use? 2? 31? Append 95? Place of service is that in Doctors office of the Nursing home where the patient resides?

I don't do SNF billing but the plans are all over the place currently and it could be POS 02, POS 02 + Mod 95, POS 11 + Mod 95... you get the idea. It's really best to pull the payer guidelines for telehealth services to determine how they want those claims billed.

We bill for SNF and use POS 31 or 32 for telehealth - We just apply modifier 95. We learned this by getting a denial that POS 02 and POS 11 was wrong so you would still use the same SNF POS.
