Hello
The originating facility would bill Q3014. Then the consulting or receiving site specialist would file his consult code with a GT modifier. Do both of these codes always have to be billed to the payers to receive complete reimbursement for either code that is filed? I had read that as of March of 2016 this requirement had changed. Has anyone came across this scenario to provide some guidance? Thank you for your assistance.
