Have anyone had any luck getting paid for Coding for Telephone Consultations

CPT 98966, 98967, 98968, 99441, 99442, 99443

It really depends on the payer and some do pay. But it must follow the rules to be billable. That is these must be calls initiated by an established patient. And the 7day rule, and be more than 5 minutes. All this can be found in the CPT book. So they are not consults by the true definition of a consult. If your provider calls the patient, these are not the codes to use. The only one I know for that purpose is the 99358-59.
