Hello,

If the provider would normally bill for a Telehealth E&M originating from the provider’s office with a distant site provider, but due to poor connection the service is being carried out as a telephone service (99441-99443). Can the provider additionally bill additionally bill for an injection? If so, with modifier?

The client is in the clinic talking to a distant site provider. If the decision is made during this call for the client to receive an injection since the client is already on site, can this be billed?

Got it. You'll need to look at the documentation for the E/M service to determine whether it meets the requirements for a separately identifiable visit.
