I have a provider who spoke to the mother of a minor child, still living at home, regarding the child's medical progress. Provider has documented appropriately with time and I haven't found hard evidence as to whether I can code this service with 99441-3 since it was not the patient my provider spoke to. Any guidance would be so appreciated. Thank you.

Hi Linton
This is permissible per the CPT guidelines. See pages 49 and 811 of CPT manual year 2021 for CPT 99441 and 98960 .
