I have recently been employed by an Orthopedic physician who insists on dictation he preformed thermal ablation on say a lesion. I have exhausted my resources trying to find a CPT code for it. I asked him what it was and he stated it was a microwave procedure for distruction. Can anyone help me? They have been using 29999. Thanks!
 
Thanks, this helps us rookies, I watch, listen and ask.....least till I get work...thanks again. Now am I correct that it would require an LT modifer?
