I am trying to find a specific code for Spasticity Unspecified. I'm not sure whether to use G25.82 or R25.9?
I would appreciate any help. The patient has spinal bifida with spasticity and persistent low back pain

G25.82 is a specific condition- stiff man/person syndrome. I would not use that unless the provider documents it specifically. Consider if the spasticity and low back pain are an inherent component of spina bifida. If they are, I wouldn't code them separately. If not, you can code them separate from the spina bifida diagnosis.
