Can someone clarify if 37201 is to be only reported once for the entire duration of treatment? If we have a patient brought back the following day for a recheck/reevaluation and the catheter is not exchanged or replaced can we charge the 37201 for the follow up evaluation in addition to the 75898? Based on evaluation continued treatment is required.

Unfortunately, you are correct that the 75898 is the only charge when they check the status of the occlusion(s).

37201/75896 should be reported once, per treatment, within same vascular family.

HTH :)
