Patient had RT thyroidectomy which was cancerous. 2 weeks later they removed LT side which has no cancer. Do you still use a cancer code (193) for the non-cancerous thyroid?
 
Thank you so much Tonyj. I knew there was something like that as I use the V50.41 for the prophylactic breast code once in a while, but still wasn't sure if I needed to also list the 193 dx code.
