How do you guys code tick bites (often "multiple") with no date of occurrence and no body part specified in provider's notes? Keeping in mind that Epic requires a date in claim info to use any W codes and there is no S code for unspecified body part...
Do you drop the bite and code symptoms? Do you query?
There will be opportunity for provider education at a later date, but in the mean time, I don't want to tick providers off unnecessarily.
