I have received my Certification in Medical Billing and Coding and have been trying to get into this department? I currently work in Ambulatory scheduling so I am familiar with types of visit and diagnosis. I have also tried to reach out to recruiters and individuals in the Financial or Revenue Cycle but have not heard much response.

If you use the search feature of the forums for words like CPC-A, seeking job, job tips, can't find job, employment, etc. you can find advice already posted.
Does your current employer have a medical records and/or coding department? Can you ask to job shadow or have you seen any openings in the revenue cycle or other departments besides scheduling? Do they have a coding apprentice job track? I know some large groups would rather hire/promote from within so they allow CPC-A or entry level coders to move into roles within their coding team to learn and move up.
