Hi,
I work in an Ambulatory Sugery setting. We create molds for our pediatric patients for their TLSO's. We do this in the ASC with sedation. We then give the mold to an O&P provider, a private company, to make the brace. Currently we do not bill for the service of preparing the mold. I spoke with our O&P provider and they are billing HCPCs L1200 - L1290 or L0482 or L0486. I am curious as to whether or not we can bill for our facility and orthopedic surgeon's time for preparing these molds?
