My doctor recently performed a total femur replacement on a patient for a periprosthetic fracture of the femur. The patient is status post total hip revision in 2010, subsequently sustaining a periprosthetic fracture. She underwent a ORIF of the periprosthetic fracture with a locked plate construct and a trochanteric claw cable for a trochanteric fracture. She recently fractured again, this time opting for a total femur replacement. During surgery, the doctor performed a revision of total hip arthroplasty, femoral component only, a total knee arthroplasty and extraction of the entire femur, creating a new femur utilizing the Biomet OSS system.

My issue is that I am having trouble finding a code to compare the femur excision to since this is such a rare procedure. I am looking for any tips, hints, help that would assist me in this case.
