If a person had a hip bone decompression for AVN and years later has a total hip replacement. Is this considered a conversion or a new insertion. 27132 or 27130. A hip bone decompression is not an open procedure but a skin incision is made to insert the instruments. Thoughts?

If I could join in on this conversation. Would 27132 replace 27130, when you charge out the procedure for a conversion? I don't think you'd charge both, but I wanted to be sure. Also, I can't seem to find this code in many fee schedules for insurance companies, why is that?
