Hello,

Could any one help on this for the new EM 2021 changes we consider the entire time (Total) in a encounter for LOS with the prolonged service code if required, in our reports we find the > 10 mins spent in counselling for tobacco with the total encounter time as 90 minutes, how can we split and bill when this is a case of a established patient.
