I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on how to get CPT 80306 and CPT 80307. I work in Worker's Compensation so we provide a quantative range for the results. The tests need to be paid because they have been completed regardless if a patient is positive or negative. Certain companies pay in full, while others refuse to pay anything. Please provide any insight into how to appeal for payment. Thank you!

Work Comp guidelines are different state to state. The best advice I could give you is to go to the state work comp website and view their guidelines (they should have their base fee schedules posted too, keep in mind, most WK requires a PPO agreement, so your actual reimbursement may differ than the posted rate). Nebraska isn't great with information, Florida has a great work comp website to get details for that state. I would start there. The states typically with outline just about everything you can think of billing in their guidelines.
