i was wondering if we would use 31.27 (icd) for a person who had a previous trach. but this admission had another tracheostomy to replace tube?

Or, can you code the trach. (31.29) again?

I don't see a 31.27 in my 2008 ICD-9-CM coding book -

how does 97.23 look? "replacement of tracheostomy tube"... (nonoperative replacement)
