I have already reviewed Noridian (our MAC), CMS and all the other sources I can find about TCMs and specifically the interactive contact component. Our interpretation of the guidance is that an MA would not be able to perform all of the requirements of the interactive component but we are getting push back on this. We realize "incident to" plays into this but we are unsure on the coding side how to find out if an MA is able to perform all the required parts of this component. We have been working on the side of caution because we can't prove that they can but we are getting push back that they should be able to. Anyone have any guidance or suggestions on how to help with this?
