I'm wondering what best practices there are for transmitting claims. Can anyone help?
The reason I'm asking is because we are a physician's office and only transmit claims twice a week. Currently we are seeing more and more payments (our biggest ones) coming in at the end of the month. I'm thinking that if we change our transmittal process and submit claims more frequently, we may have a steady flow of payments instead of such large amounts all at once.
