Our neurosurgeon recently did a transphenoidal pituitary tumor removal. It's common to have transphenoidal CSF leaks after this. When we are coding for a second surgery the following week to repair the CSF leak (transphenoidal approach again) what code should I use? I was told I should possibly use an unlisted code - is that correct?
