Can anyone help?
I am new to coding facility, have been coding only provider in the ED, and am getting conflicting answers on my question.
Can I bill trauma code G0390 without critical care? I don't think I can. Also if the ED provider does not support critical care can critical care be billed on the facility side using the trauma flow sheets? No citical care time is being marked on the nurses patient care timeline. Only on the trauma flow sheets. Also can anyone direct me where I can research this? Thank you:confused:
