We are a inpt substance abuse facility detox and res. Tricare is paying us based on DRG which is less then what they pay u son php and Iop. Anyone have this issue? Also having trouble getting a clean claim through. They continue to deny for every reason they can find. Cld use some help here please. lol

If you are an inpt substance abuse facility then they are paying you as an inpt facility. What type of claim form are you billing on. CMS1500 or UB04 form. What are the clean claims rejecting for, is the clearing house kicking them out? Yes the insurance companies are good about denying claim for unknown reason but i can try to help if you are still having issues.
