I think I posted this question in the wrong area sooo I will attempt again. I bill trigger point injections 20552 & 20553 I have recently had denials for other procedure not found After researching this I was told that an injectable was expected. However what is injected does not have a Jcode HCPC code as it was deletedin 2005 as integral to the procedure code. I think that perhaps BCBS has a new edit because they do not pay dry needling. Does anyone have any ideas? or know of a new update regarding trigger points that I am not aware of? These denials began the middle of June 2019.
